Headaches, Neck Pain
“For five years I have struggled with neck and back pain, numbness and tingling in my hands and arms, headaches and ringing in my ears.
I have, throughout these five years, been under the care of excellent physicians including an internist, who treated me then referred me to a pain specialist, who treated me then referred me to a neurosurgeon who referred me to a neurologist who referred me to a rehab doctor, who was also a chiropractor.
I have been under her care, seeing her monthly for the past three years. All these doctors looked at my MRI and told me to never let a chiropractor treat my neck.
I have had several courses of physical therapy, taken NSAIDS, narcotics and muscle relaxers, done yoga, biofeedback and a myriad of stretches and exercises. I have had steroid injections in my spine.
Yet, I continued to experience pain daily; often nights were agonizing. I was slowly, steadily loosing my ability to function as a mother, nurse and homemaker. My hard-working husband had to take on more and more household responsibilities, as I was able to do less and less.
I came very close to having surgery on my C-spine but something told me there had to be a better way. As a RN, with a traditional medical model education, I know the limits of the care these doctors can provide. I also know the focus is most often on treating the symptoms, rather than alleviating the underlying problem.
Well, you adjusted my neck in addition to doing a few other amazing things; you gave me my life back. The pain in my neck and my headache were gone after one visit.
My children asked why I was so happy all the time. I cleaned my entire house and even washed windows! The ringing in my ears is greatly lessened. I have full range of motion in my neck and can move without pain, numbness or tingling. I am tackling projects that I'd given up hope of ever doing.
My life is better than it's been in many years. My future looks bright and I am looking forward to old age instead of feeling like I'm living it at 43. My friends, family and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”
